Wow Lydia, this is very interesting. I love the crispness and saturation of the figure, and the light you added around really defines it. The far left may be a bit dark, maybe give it a little more detail over there. Otherwise I think this is a very intriguing piece.
Before your colors and lighting were neutral and left the viewer on the outside. With these new changes it feels more like we are looking into this undefined space -possibly the figure's mind?
Aesthetically, this is a lot more dynamic, obviously. So I guess it all depends on what you are going for. A quiet stillness or a loud chaos?
This new image allows the viewer to get lost in what the figure is seeing and/or thinking.
I am studying fine/studio art & art history in college. My primary mediums include printmaking and digital art. I also enjoy dabbling in photography. I hope to go on to graduate school and study art therapy. These are my artistic thoughts & inspirations for my work.
