i finally decided on a place to get my images printed, and i've sent them a couple tests to print on a silk material. i will have to wait about a week before he sends me the tests, however, because he has to get another roll of silk sent in. hopefully the tests will arrive sooner than later so i can get some final images printed for the end of the semester.
depending on how well these turn out, i would like to get them printed in a very large format, so we'll see how many i can manage time-wise and money-wise to get done by the end here!
in the meantime i am working on getting the fine details drawn into the other images.
here's one relatively-finished piece... can i get some feedback on whether or not i should incorporate patterns into the background?? thanks!

I would defiantly do something with the background. if not make designs then give it some sort of texture or something that keeps the viewers eye interested.
Have you considered some sort of lighting for the background?
